Hey, readers! Been a long time since I updated something here. And I am truly sorry for that. I can't be active here since I'm very busy with my studies and lack of time preparing or planning what to do next on my blog. But, hey! I'm trying to catch up and keep everyone posted.

GUESS WHAT?! I JUST TURNED 18. Hahaha yep. I know not everyone of you care but I'm so happy for this day, for this wonderful day. I'm actually a bit late of posting this but like what the saying says, better late than never.

I know you guys are now wondering what I did on my party, if I throw a huge party, rent a very special venue, decorations, cakes, and party favors. Well, I swear I did not. And meaning of this, I will be posting or giving some TIPS for teens out there who'll turn 18 this year or maybe someday. I hope I could be any help! Let's move on. :)

This was the arrangement for my birthday celebration. My theme is Bohemian and we tried so hard to make it look like one even though we're lack of decorations and stuff. But still, we made it like what/how I want it to be.

I guess it's not too late to post this and thank the people behind this.
Just like many other people in this world, I also wait the entire year for my grand day; my Birth day. This day has attained such enthusiasm in my life just because of you all. Your endless heart melting blessings and wishes make my entire life blossom and prosper in such a unique way that cannot be expressed in words.
Birthday is a day that is dedicated to you, a day that is solely yours; and each one of you makes this statement true to the core for me by being present in the most exceptional way on my birthday and making it the grand event. I am blessed to be with you people. You all have since many years been with me each second and have always showered the best when it comes to me. From your gifts to your messages to your calls and to each and every effort that you people have put in for me has every year made my day the greatest amongst all and this year’s the most wonderful.
I cannot thank you all enough for all the overwhelmed moments that each one of you has made me witness. A huge thanks to all those who have added the pinch of spice and curiosity on my birthday by doing the 12 o'clock surprise every year without any delay. You people have always gone beyond just for my happiness and have graced my presence way on my most special day.
Your gifts, surprises, wishes, flowers, blessings, cards, everything; literally each single call even makes my day extravagant. My love for you people cannot be expressed and so the gratitude that I owe you people is non expressible.

Thank you for everyone for making my birthday the most special and making me feel how important my existence is. Your wishes were all that was needed, to make my birthday much more special and my life much more meaningful in it owns special way. Thank you all, thank you so much. Love you all, your presence in my life adds on to the need of why I exist. 💛

    Thank you for reading! <3

I know a lot of teenage girls want their coming-of-age also known as 18th Birthday Debut to be successful and super bongga! I mean it's a once in a lifetime experience and you don't want to miss that. For those girls out there who doesn't have enough budget for throwing a huge party for their 18th then you're in the right blog! Here are some tips that can/may help you while preparing for your birthday.

When 2017 comes, turning 18 is already on my mind. What to do, Where to place my party, Who am I going to invite, What will be the theme, and so much more. But as you can see, I don't belong a to very wealthy family who can give me what I always want and they can't throw me a huge party like what every girls do when it's their 18th birthday. So then I was planning to save up my allowance so that I have money to use for the expenses but then I failed. I'm the kind of girl who spends a lot of money on food, clothing, and I online shopping a lot! Hahaha. Screw me. It was in the middle of August when I decided to really as in REALLY save up money for my birthday and yes, I did it!
Like what you guys read on my recent post, I didn't throw a huge party and as you can see we didn't book a catering service for the food and for the decorations and stuff. Most of the decorations you see on my pictures are DIYs. So let's start!

    1. Dream about your debut. Have time alone with yourself and dream what do you want your debut to look like.
(For example; I want mine to be bohemian themed so I started searching on the internet for some ideas for a bohemian themed party. And oh! Bohemian is also the theme for Liza's Debut. Dream about what your party look like and also if you want some 18 roses, candles and treasures then go for it! And if you also want a cotillion dance then start making pairs and choose who will be your cotillion escort.)

    2. Come into reality. It's not all about dreaming. Of course after dreaming about your dream debut you must come into reality. Especially if wala ka talagang budget for a bonggang party. But don't worry about that. I have suggestions for you.
(For example; My dream debut is a bohemian themed. After browsing the internet about a bohemian themed party, I started planning what things I'll be using for it and all. Most of my decorations are DIYs. Yep! It's DIY. If you have internet and if only you're very industrious then you'll have what you need. My teepee, giant name letters, my LJ name, the photo hanging on the tree, the bamboo vase and the giveaways are all DIYs. If you want me to show you how to do the giant name letters then I'll try posting on HOW TO MAKE video for it.)

    3. Start making the NEEDS for your party. In advance, start planning or doing what you need for your party so that you won't have any problem when it's around the corner.
(For example; I planned everything when it's still August and start doing it up to September. So that in October, I don't have any problem.)

    4. Start listing who will be your guest on your party and what time the party will start. The headline itself explains it all. Hahaha. I only invited my closest friends and my relatives since I don't like many people in my party. And of course decide what time your party will start.

    5. Choose an emcee and start making the program. If you have an emcee, you should also have the program. What will be the flow for your party and more. My tip for that! Since it's kinda expensive to get an emcee for my birthday, I let my cousins do it instead. And if you don't have any idea for the flow for your party, try reading this. This might help you.(https://www.candymag.com/features/here-s-a-sample-debut-program-to-tell-you-what-should-happen-at-your-party)

So that's it! I hope you sweeties have an amazing birthday party and I hope my tips can help you to plan and decide for your coming 18th birthday. ❤

A reminder: If you really can't have a party like this, always remember that it doesn't have to be celebrated like this for you to debut. Think of all the beautiful things you've done for 17 years. Thank God for giving you another year of your life and as long as you're happy, that's all the matters. HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY.

Hi everyone! I know it's been 5 months not posting any updates here. Not even posting some pictures from Christmas last year and the New Year celebration. My apologies. I've just been very busy and I don't have a good camera to post something here. I know it's okay but a blog is a hundred times better having a pictures attached. I wonder also if there are some people who likes to read my blog post here who misses my post. Is there any or? :( Well, so much for that. I just like to share to all of you about my painting last night since we have this subject called Contemporary Arts which is all about arts, music and etc. It's like MAPEH in Elementary school. If you're wondering, I'm in 11th grade. Hopefully I'll be in 12th grade this coming June! Yaaaay. So, yeah. Like what you have read on the title for this post, I will be venting below my open letter to the universe. How much I adore and will also be talking about the painting, too. :)

              Dear space,

Let me tell you about the admiration I have in you. Everything about you is just so perfect. I don't have much idea of how you're doing there but I'm sure you're doing well floating together with the stars and all. I'm not really a fan of science but there's something about you that makes me melt every time my teacher talks about you. You're not the guy who makes me fall in love every time I see or hear his name. Not even my closest friend who made me so happy that I almost forget what sadness is. I'm curious about the things around you. I wonder how huge you are. The sun, the planets, the stars, the comets and much more. I wanna know how exactly you look like. The sound from outer space. During night, I stare at the sky wishing that I see you. But you're so far away that I couldn't even touch you. We're on a long distance relationship. Despite of that, I'm thankful for putting the stars above the sky for me so that I have something to look at. Mister moon, who sleeps with me. Telling me stories about you. And sun, who always encourage me that every day is a new day. A new beginning of my life. I'm out of words. Very speechless because you're beautiful.

So that's it. My letter for the universe. Anyways, these are the products I use to paint that space and the huge planet. I actually use a black acrylic paint for the night sky. The brushes I used don't have brands it's so cheap I swear. You just need effort how you make your painting admirable and pleasing. But mine isn't. Hahaha I knew it.

Here it is. Sorry if it's a little blur. My hands are shaky. It's a very epic fail painting. I'm having a hard time of the rings. It's suppose to be 3 rings but I don't know where to put the other one so I ended up a planet with a 2 rings. But I hope you guys still like it. For that, let me tell you what inspires me to paint this.

Reese Lansangan, she's a Filipino visual artist, graphic designer, fashion designer, musician and a song writer. She have an album called "Arigato, Internet." If you guys haven't heard of her then you better search her on Google and her YouTube channel. Soooo, she has this one song named "A song about space" it's on her Arigato Internet album. And I love it so much that I ended up having this imaginations about me being on space. Because of her song, it makes me even more curious what space really looks like. As I was just sitting on my bed, thinking of what to do. I decided to paint and one thing that's on my mind is to paint space. So I search on google to get some ideas and so I finish with this. I really wanna do a cover of her song (hopefully soon on my soundcloud account) or maybe I'll open a YouTube channel for Vlogs and some covers or DIY(?) Maybe. So stay tune, everyone.

This is my room by the way and I place my painting here. So that I can stare at it all day lol. I don't have what so say anymore. I just hope that you enjoy my painting and this very new blog post. :)
I'll be back here soon with a cover of the song "A song about space" so better listen to it on spotify. Thank you so much, readers! God speed. ❤❤❤

    Hello, guys. I'm baaaack!
It's been a month since my last post. I'm truly sorry. I've been very busy with my studies. At the first day of school, I thought it would be so boring. Well, it is. Not being able to meet new faces and the environment. But I was wrong. I'm being too negative. Didn't expect that this Senior Year will be amazing and fun despite of all the struggle and hardships. Anyway, we had Acquaintance Party that was on Thursday.

Meet my blockmates! The theme for our Acquaintance is cocktail. So yeah. Look at us, we are all beautiful, aren't we? Hahaha charot!

With Jolina! Awww. When we were asked to go to the hall for the Acquaintance to start. I hurriedly ran to the photobooth and asked somebody to take a picture for me and her.
P/S: Sorry for the very blurry pictures. The hands of the photographer is shaking lol.

Together with the SSC Officers. *insert heat eyes emoji

But before the marching starts, we took a #groufie. A very wonderful picture featuring our smiles.

So yeah. A picture with some of my blockmates. We're just creating memories. Heh.

We were serenaded by this very beautiful girl named Kianna. With the famous song in the Philippines called "Tadhana" by Up Darma.

We didn't just enjoy the food, the music. We also enjoy this bracelet. A memory from our party.
There's so much fun during that night. Even though I lost my voice from shouting, sweating and my body is aching because of dancing. It was all worth it! Can't wait for this to happen again next year. :)

    Xoxo,
         Leila
